An away game at Tandragee recreation centre saw Lurgan Town make the short trip to take on Tandragee Rovers with a early morning kick off.
Town took a few minutes to settle down but from then on they played neat, attractive football; passing moving and link up play to the forwards. Town’s nerves settled with a goal after 8 mins with Oli McRobb on the scoresheet.
Town continued to dominate across the pitch and a second goal came courtesy of team Captain Jack Greene. Town’s dominance continued throughout the first half with further goals to come from Owen Connoly and a thunderous goal from Kai McCartney saw Town go in at half time 4 nil up.
In the second half Hayden Kerr and Ryan Donnely were introduced with Kai Metcalfe and Noah Roderick making way.
The second half continued with Dominant Town on the front foot. A further two goals from Owen Connoly and Jack Greene saw Town 7 nil up. At this point Jack Greene was replaced in midfield by Kai and what a sub as Kai rifled another half volley into the net.
A great team performance sending the coaches, supporters and most importantly the players home happy.
