Match Preview: Tullyvallen v Town

Match day 3 sees the first team travel to Newtownhamilton to take on Tullyvallen in a Mid Ulster Intermediate B league game. Tullyvallen have got off to a great start winning 2 games out of 2. They sit second in the league behind Oxford Sunnyside. Town on the other have had a stuttering start picking up just 1 point from their opening two games.

Manager Lee Dickson said: “Tullyvallen are a very good team, especially at home, and it was two tight games last year. We are looking forward to the challenge and again getting another game under the new players belts, to get this new team settled. The boys trained well last night (Thursday) and are in good shape going into the game! We look forward to it”.

It is normally a tight game against Tullyvallen whether at home or away and last season proved that once again. Town won 2-1 at the Arena with Tullyvallen winning their home game 3-1. The games are coming thick and fast at this time of the season, which is great to allow Dickson’s team time to gel.
