Entertaining Derby Game

The derby match against T.T.B.S and our Mid Ulster U12s played on Friday night in Tandragee did not fail to entertain the small crowd that had gathered. Town had a few regulars missing but that didn’t deter the 10 boys who took part in this convincing win.

The first half was very close. Town took the lead with a cracking volley from Oisin Kennedy who was captain for the night. The remaindrr of the half was keenly contested by both teams and TTBS went in wining at half time.

To their credit Town came out in the 2nd half and played their best football of the season so far. The shot of the night was from Morgan Barr, who beat 2 players and from 20 yards hit the post, the ball rolled across the line and hit the other post.

Every week these boys give their all and in every game they hit the post/crossbar at least 3 times or the opposition keeper pulls off great saves, Friday was different though. All the shooting practise in training paid off and they managed to score a lot of goals and Town ended up winning the game.

A great team performance on the night and man of match was split 3 ways. Kennedy, Bradbury and McCavigan for being a constant threat and giving 100% effort.

Squad: Hibble, Barr, Emerson, Ward, Bradbury, Kennedy, Mallon, Nelson, McCavigan, Adamson.
