A depleted Lurgan Town Under 15’s faced local rivals Craigavon City at Lord Lurgan Park on Saturday morning and came away with a very respectable 4-0 win. This comes on the back of 5-3 win over Portadown last week. It was Lurgan who dominated the first half and they should have been a couple of goals to the good before they actually took the lead from Conor Lavery with a very composed finish. At the break it was one nil to Lurgan Town.
The second half started much the same way as the first and it wasn’t long before top scorer Rileigh Jamison scored his 21st goal of the season. Andrew McCallion soon scored the best goal of the match when he got on the end of a great cross from Sebastian Bombka and headed the ball back across the keeper and into the bottom corner to make it 3-0.Rileigh Jamison then added a fourth to round up a comprehensive win for the Lurgan side.
The team’s coaching staff were pleased with everyones performances but special mention has to go to stand in keeper Riley Grimason who managed to keep a clean sheet.
