MU12s Bounce Back With Win

under 12 mid ulster 6Lurgan Town Mid Ulster U12’s took on Dromore in the League at Havelock Park on Saturday 25th February 2017. Dromore took the lead with a cross into the box. Lurgan responded quickly when Jack O’Brien gave a lovely through ball to Luke Carson and Luke ran onto it and finished brilliantly into the bottom left corner.
Jack Brannigan made a phenomenal save down to his right hand side to keep the score even and Lurgan went ahead when Luke Carson finished well past the keeper for his second. Jack Brannigan had a great game and made a couple of good saves from headers to keep Lurgan in the lead.
Lurgan scored a crucial third when Joey McDonald fed Liam Campbell.  Liam hit a good shot which the keeper parried but Adam Banks was there to pounce on the rebound. Good win for Lurgan.  Jack Brannigan and Luke Carson were the star performers for Lurgan today. After the disappointment of losing our last week on penalties the team bounced back to make it 6 wins in a row in the league.
