Town started off on the front foot and early pressure lead to a corner kick in which Callum Emerson scored directly into the top corner. A couple of minutes later Callum cheekily chipped the keeper to make it 2-0 with 10 minutes gone. To their credit Loughgall lifted their game and scored 2 quick goals to bring it level after 15 minutes. Emerson was once again involved in Town’s 3rd goal. His free kick was parried by the keeper and Oisin Kennedy slotted home. On the stroke of half time Loughgall equalised again to leave this entertaining match 3-3 at half time.
The second half began again with Town pressing. The midfield of David Ward, Oisin Kennedy, Joel Adamson and Ben Cochrane were on top and the 4th goal came when Dean Bradbury took a quick corner and Oisin Kennedy scored again. Corey Nelson and Sean McCavigan were creating more chances but couldn’t get the break through.
Loughgall threw everything forward in the last 10 minutes and piled the pressure on Craig Hibble, Morgan Barr, Callum Emerson and Joel Russell and the lads held tight and kept their shape. However Loughgall did equalise again with a 20 yard shot to the top corner with 5 minutes left. Both teams had chances to win it but the draw was a fair result.
