Great Win For MU12s

Lurgan Town MU12s travelled to Tandragee leisure centre to face Loughgall youth in a league fixture. The first 10 mins both team cancelled them selfs out with a lot of possession with no end product. Lurgan started to go through the gears with series of corners but the score line remained goalless. In the 15 min Daniel Graeme came close with a long range effort. Lurgan kept up the pressure and the opening goal eventually came, with great hold up play from Luke Carson he cushioned the ball to Joey McDonald who hit a unstoppable shot into the roof of the net. Town started the second half they way they finished pressing Loughgall high up the pitch. The second goal did not take long in coming Toby Haire made a crunching tackle and slipped the ball to Joey McDonald who played a telling pass to Liam Campbell who rifled the ball passed the keeper this was a great finish.

Lurgan’s back three where solid today and kept Loughgall forward line at bay. On the 40 min lurgan grabbed goal number 3 Liam Campbell picked up the ball on the left hand side and drove a shot which the loughgall goalkeeper parried to Joey McDonald who calmly placed the ball in left hand corner of the net. Thats 4 out of 4 for the mid Ulster side. Each player played their part today and put in a great shift but today man of the match goes to Toby Haire.
