Back Home Again

Ahead of tomorrow’s home league game against Ambassadors we spoke with manager Lee Dickson:

Personally I am looking forward to the game tomorrow as it’s our first competitive match at home from March 7th, and all the boys are looking forward to it as well.

Ambassadors had a fantastic season last year, and I genuinely think they would have had a big say in where the league would have went had it finished properly. We had a great win against them at home in the league, and unfortunately didn’t get to play the return fixture due to the circumstances.

They come to us tomorrow on the back of two defeats, having said that, scoring 5 goals against an Intermediate A team last week, so we will have to be on our toes. The boys know the league is the priority and whilst we have only played the one game against Dungannon thus far, the result wasn’t there, but the performance was pleasing, as well as the win last week against another strong team in our league Seagoe. Ambassadors have strong players all over and it should be a great game.
