Reserves Hit 8

Lurgan Town Reserves travelled to Tandragee Rovers res for their 4th away game in a row. Lurgan started very well and controlled all over the field from the first whistle. It wasnt long before Nathan Crozier found himself in space down the right hand side and whipped a great ball into the box which fell to Josh Milne who made no mistake with the finish.

Lurgan continued to dictate the game and a great through ball from Robin Carson splitting the Tandragee’s defence wide open and leaving Jack Evans through 1 on 1 and putting Lurgan 2 ahead after 20 mins. Lurgan’s third goal came from some great link up play down the left between Josh and Adil and resulting a great front post run from Burns to meet the crossing ball and putting Lurgan 3 ahead at the break.

Second half started much the same with Adil running on to a through ball and making no mistake in putting past the keeper. Evan’s doubled his tally for the day with a superb goal from the sideline catching the keeper off his line. Trainor made it 6 with a long range from outside the box. Evans finished off his hat trick with another great finish running on to a ball from adil down the left. Trainor made it 8 and finished off the day with a late penalty.

Another solid performance from the Reserves and another clean sheet making it the 4th of the year, couldn’t ask for better. Next up is markethill in the cup next. A welcomed home fixture for the Reserves.
