MU12s Come From Behind To Win

under-12-mid-ulster-2Lurgan Town Mid-Ulster U12’s took on Coalisland in a League game at Lurgan on Saturday 21st January 2017. Lurgan fell behind when they failed to clear the ball and Coalisland scored from close range. Town had most of the chances and Joey McDonald equalised with a sensational shot from outside the area by Joey which went in off the crossbar and post.
The boys went ahead with own goal and Jake McMurray extended the lead when he ran through and shot well past the keeper.  Luke up hit the bar with a very good shot and was then rewarded when, he like Jake, shot well past the Coalisland keeper. Luke Carson scored the last with a beautiful left foot shot into the top corner.
It’s was good all round performance with Jack O’Brien and Joey McDonald playing well but this weeks man of the match goes to Luke Carson for his goals.
