Castlecaufield Too Strong For MU12s

Lurgan Town Mid-Ulster U12’s took on Enniskillen Rangers in the League at Castlecaufield on Saturday 7th January 2017.

The Castlecaufield pitch is a bit smaller than most and with less space the game was very tight for most of the first half.

Enniskillen opened the scoring when their forward swivelled and hit an unstoppable shot past Jack Brannigan.

Lurgan went close with a direct free kick from Adam Banks.  He hit it brilliantly but it cleared the bar.

Enniskillen went further ahead with a close range header from a corner.

Just before half time Lurgan pulled one back when Daniel Graham finished well after a good through ball by Adam Banks.
Enniskillen scored 3 further goals in the second half to win the game.

It was a poor performance by Lurgan, especially after last weeks performance. Hopefully next Saturday we will back to our usual performance.

Squad: Jack Brannigan — Toby Haire, Morgan Harrison, Ben Hendron, James Wright — Liam Campbell, Daniel Graham, Joey McDonald, Jake McMurray, Harry Smith – Adam Banks, Luke Carson
