Lurgan Town Mid Ulster U12’s took on TTBS at Annagh United’s in the league cup Saturday morning, 5th November 2016. TTBS scored the opening goal with a long range shot. Lurgan equalised with a very good goal – Daniel Graham went past 2-3 TTBS players and passed to Joey McDonald who passed to Adam Banks who slotted home. Lurgan then followed up with an exceptional run of play and 3 more goals before half time. For the second goal, Daniel Graham chipped the ball into the area in front of the keeper and Adam Banks scored his second when he flicked the ball into the net. Joey McDonald went on a brilliant run for the third goal, running past the defender on his left side and cleverly shooting back across the keeper. And then Ben Hendron scored the fourth after a scramble from a corner. It was a great spell of 4 goals in around 15 minutes. In the second half TTBS pulled back a goal with another long range shot. Tyler Bradley came on as substitute up front and scored Lurgan’s fifth with a very good finish to seal the win, after running onto a misplaced clearance. Daniel Graham and Joey McDonald were both outstanding for Lurgan in the centre of midfield and Lurgan ran out winners 5-2 with a really good display.
